IFA Head Coach Eric Walkingstick’s takeaways from the game and homecoming week.

We put a lot into it, the kids were focused, played really hard. We just created some turnovers and some costly mistakes that kind of caught up to us at the end. We played really hard, played good football, but just couldn’t come out on top,” says Walkingstick. “At the end of the day, that’s what you’re trying to do, make a sense of community and a sense of pride in the product we’re putting out there. I’m proud of our community. I’m proud of our kids. I’m proud of the program. Fun atmosphere this week, I was glad to be a part of it. I’m still impressed with the support that we get throughout the community and throughout the school. It’s just a great program to be a part of and we appreciate that.”

Cade Olberding was 14/25 for 157 yards and a touchdown. Carter Weaver had four receptions for 95 yards and a touchdown. Carter DeBates led the defense with 12 tackles.

Iowa Falls-Alden (2-4, 2-1 2A-6) will be at Jesup on Friday.
