Sunday at 10:42pm the Mason City Fire Department was called out on the report of a fully involved house fire at 12-11 South Georgia Avenue. No injuries reported.
Upon arrival, the front porch was on fire, with flames extending into the main house through the front door and windows.
The cause of the fire has been deemed accidental. While the investigation is ongoing, early findings point to an E-bike charging system that was plugged into an outlet and charging a battery pack.
