Conservation Halloween Hike in Clarksville

CATS of Iowa! – Annual Halloween Hike

It is the time of year when the Butler, Bremer and Chickasaw County Conservation Boards come together to offer our Halloween Hike events. At this event, participants take a short woodland walk at night with stops to meet five characters that have something in common. Our theme is Cats of Iowa, with our characters being a bobcat, mountain lion, civet cat, catfish and caterpillar. The trail is a crushed lime chip trail suitable for most strollers or wheelchairs. This event is suitable for all ages and offered for a free will donation. It includes hot drinks and homemade treats after the hike.

Registration is open, and you must register by phone at 319-346-6551 or e-mail awittrock@butlercounty.iowa.gov.

When registering by email or leaving a message, be sure to leave the following information: your name, number in your group, requested hike time (6:00, 6:15, 6:30 or 6:45), and a contact number in case we have questions.
