Yesterday the Franklin County Board of Supervisors conducted two interviews for the position of county recorder, as current recorder Toni Wilkinson is retiring at the end of this year.
The Franklin supervisors approved to appoint Heather Bushbaum, currently the deputy recorder, to the position, effective January 1st, 2025.
In other business, the Franklin supervisors approved weight embargoes on at least 22 bridges in the county, and accepted the 2024 Weed Commissioner Report.
