Clarksville Head Coach Ashley Earle on the match against the Stars, the impact of three seniors and program building.

It was really fun to see them, give it their whole heart, and they didn’t quit at all.  We had some calls that didn’t go our way, which I think got in the way, always a mindset that we battle with a lot. For the most part, I’m really proud of how they played, and we had some big blocks and big hits,” says Earle. “I started with these girls when they were sophomores. You’re starting to see how much it takes to build a program, and when you see these three go, lots of tears, lots of love and hugs there. They’re not really known to be a volleyball team, they’re a softball and basketball program. I think we’re starting to feed into that, and they’re starting to believe in it, and trust in what I’m doing.”

Clarksville’s seniors include Addy Johnson, Claire Lodge and Sidney Jacobs.

Claire Lodge had five kills, Marlee Klem and Sidney Jacobs added four kills apiece to lead the Indians.

Clarksville ends their season at 5-28 overall.
