Members of the H-D Vote Yes Committee continue to work on helping to pass a 17-million dollar bond referendum on November 5th for the Hampton-Dumont School District.

Val Gonzalez is a member of the H-D Vote Yes Committee, an H-D graduate, who has a daughter currently attending in the H-D district.  She tells RadioOnTheGo News that passing the bond would help the district on many fronts.

“You know, being able to retain faculty and staff and recruiting and bringing more families and people into our wonderful community, the bottom line is that the demand for educational space constantly changes and building should evolve along with those programs.”

A final public meeting to learn more about the vote and proposed projects will be held Thursday beginning at 5:30pm with a tour and the meeting itself at 6pm at Hampton-Dumont High School.
