The FindJodi.com website is reporting that investigators from Mason City recently searched an area in Winsted, Minnesota after receiving a tip into the case of the missing Mason City TV anchor Jodi Huisentruit.
Huisentruit was abducted on her way to work at KIMT-TV in June of 1995, and was later declared legally dead.
The Mason City investigators traveled to Winsted, Minnesota in mid-October. Winsted is located northwest of the Twin Cities.
The investigation was focused on the land and surrounding area of a new apartment complex construction site at Grass Lakes Farms 3rd Addition in Winsted.
Mason City Police continue to urge the public with any information in Jodi’s case to contact them or the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation.
