Thanksgiving dinner…as pizza?

There are some seasonal specialties from eateries that highlight Thanksgiving flavors.  My all time favorite is at Pablo’s Mexican Grill, main street, Cedar Falls. I worked there for many years, and the Thanksgiving burrito is something I still crave all year round.  Grilled turkey breast with a special cranberry chipotle salsa makes my mouth water. Of course, I was skeptical when I had my first one, but soon became my obsession.

Pizza Luce, the famous pizzeria in the Twin Cities has a specialty pizza that showcases butternut squash!  Savory and scrumptious, only around for a limited time.  Another limited time pizza is from the frozen section at your local grocery store.  DiGiorgio pizza has  Thanksgiving pizza that includes turkey breast, gravy, green beans, onions, and cranberries on a pan crust.  I have read reviews and they are surprisingly positive!  I am interested in getting one for my husband to try.  He is a big fan of thanksgiving and would absolutely be into that combo of ingredients.

I am sure there are other seasonal specialties.  Is there one that’s your favorite of the season?
