Today the Greene Recorder is reporting on the latest concerning the reopening of the nursing home in Greene via their Facebook page.
A purchase agreement has been signed for the former Valley View Nursing Home.
The administrator for the nursing home will be Jessica Fisher, and Dianne Poole will be the director of business operations.
Some construction work is already underway, including excavation work for the new water main into the apartments, and a roofing project will begin soon.
An open community meeting about the nursing home will be held Monday at 6pm at the Greene Community Center. The public is invited to attend.
