The Wright County Board of Supervisors this week received the annual funding request from the county library association, as there are 5 public libraries in the county.
Wright County contributes $134,182 to the 5 libraries. The association has requested a 4 percent increase in that funding level.
In addition, Wright County gives each library a 1-thousand dollar grant for technology. The association is asking for a total of 7-thousand dollars to be split among the libraries for the next fiscal year.
The Wright County Board of Supervisors took the matter under advisement.
