Monday the Rowan City Council met with the new city attorney Jason Palmer. He’s practiced law for 27 years and specifically municipal law for the last 20 years for cities and counties.
Palmer works out of his office in West Des Moines with 13 other lawyers.
In other business, the Rowan City Council voted to raise the water rates, and approved a bid of $2,042 to replace piping in the well room via the water department.
