This week the Allison City Council decided that moving city hall to the former medical center building in the 500 block of Locust Street will be done as soon as possible with help from the public works department.
The Allison council discussed moving the council meetings to the community room at the public library and decided that it would be a good fit for the council meetings with the extra room.
And the Allison City Council awarded the 2025 street project to Heartland Asphalt, Incorporated, but will decide on divisions at a later date.
