The city council in Grundy Center this week passed on the third and final reading an ordinance amendment concerning park regulations regarding the use of nicotine, privately owned animals, and for driving golf carts in public parks.
The Grundy Center council approved a 3-year contract for the Sports Complex maintenance contract with Precision Lawn Care.
The next city council meeting in Grundy Center was scheduled for January 6th.
