Officials with Habitat for Humanity North Central Iowa are hoping to build upon 2024, which was the 30th anniversary of the organization.

Last year, Habitat for Humanity North Central Iowa completed their 57th homeownership project.  In addition, thanks to the Dale Larson Family Foundation grant, Habitat for Humanity was able to purchase a parcel of land to build 13 houses as part of the Madison Heights Development, with 6 homes that are now being constructed.  This is the location of where the former Madison Elementary School building stood in Mason City.

The organization also launched the new Safe Senior Ramp Program, which will provide older adults with customized, accessible ramps for their homes.

Habitat for Humanity North Central Iowa covers several counties including Franklin, Wright and Cerro Gordo in the broadcast area.
