This week Thornton Mayor Mike Jensen discussed the Main Street buildings that the city wants to demolish during the city council meeting.
The buildings are located at 312, 316 and 320 Main Street.
Jensen says he had Bergo Environmental come to look at the buildings, and to also receive a quote for asbestos removal.
In addition, the city will need two quotes for demolition due to the instability of one building.
The Thornton City Council tabled discussion on the position of city attorney and tabled discussion on wages for the city employees.
