The West Fork girls wrestling team placed fourth with 83 points and the North Butler-Clarksville girls placed fifth with 71 points competing at the Top of Iowa Conference tournament hosted by Saint Ansgar on Friday.
West Fork had three podium finishers. At 170, Fernanda Ramirez was the conference champion, with a win by Fall (2:20) in quarterfinal, win by decision (5-4) in semifinal and a win by Fall (3:56) over Addison Schenker of Osage in first place match. At 140, Josi Janssen placed second with a win by Fall (0:20) in quarterfinal, win by Fall (1:45) in semifinal and lost by Fall (2:24) to Kaylie Havig of Osage in the first place match. At 125, Preslee Dickman placed second with a win by Fall (1:44) in first round, win by Fall (1:11) in the second round, win by Fall (0:50) in the quarterfinal, win by Fall (1:04) in the semifinal and lost by Fall (1:37) to Amelia Walk of Saint Ansgar in the first place match.
North Butler-Clarksville had three podium finishers. At 190, Sydney Lovrien placed second with a win by Fall (1:05) in the semifinal and lost by Fall (2:32) to Elyza Williamson of Osage in the first place match. At 130, Nadelyn Stanbrough placed third by following loss in round one with a win by medical forfeit in second round, following a loss in round three with a win by Fall (5:58) in round four, and a win by Fall (3:02) over Chelsea Brumm of Saint Ansgar in third place match. At 105, Addy Johnson placed third for NBC.
