Another charge has been filed against former Eagle Grove Police Officer Colt Allan Richardson in Wright County.
On January 13th, the Wright County Sheriff’s Department executed an arrest warrant, as the result of an investigation of alleged criminal violations by Richardson while on duty, and off duty.
The 27-year-old Richardson was originally charged with dissemination and exhibition of obscene material to a minor, a serious misdemeanor. Upon further review by the Wright County Attorney’s Office, a new charge has been filed against Richardson, sexual exploitation of a minor, which is a class “D” felony.
Richardson will be arraigned on the charges February 14th.
