The IHSAA has announced postseason basketball brackets for Classes 1A and 2A.
In 1A District 3, 5-seed West Fork will play a first round game at Riceville. In 1A District 4, 8-seed AGWSR will host a preliminary round game against South Hamilton, with the winner advancing to top-seeded St. Edmond. In the same bracket, 5-seed North Butler will open at Nashua-Plainfield, and 6-seed Clarksville will open at Janesville.
In 2A District 2, 5-seed Clarion-Goldfield-Dows will travel to 4-seed Belmond-Klemme for a first round game, with the winner advancing to top-seeded Spirit Lake. Iowa Falls-Alden is the 4-seed in District 4, and will host Eagle Grove in the first round. The winner will advance to top-seeded Ridge View. In the same bracket, 3-seed South Hardin will host Roland-Story, with the winner advancing to Manson-NW Webster.
Aplington-Parkersburg is the top seed in 2A District 5, and will host a district semifinal against either Waukon or New Hampton. Grundy Center is the top seed in 2A District 7, and will host the West Branch at Tipton winner. Dike-New Hartford is the 4-seed in 2A District 11, and will host Columbus Catholic in the first round. The winner will advance to top-seeded Denver.
The postseason will begin Friday, February 14.
