The Sheffield City Council this week discussed the new fiscal year 2026 fee schedule.
There will be a change to the water and sewer rates, an increase of 50-cents on the 1-thousand gallons after the first 2-thousand.
In addition, there will be a change on the building permits for a remodel over 100-thousand dollars and new home construction will be increased by $250.
The Sheffield City Council approved the changes to the fee schedule, and the resolution to approve the new schedule will be on the March meeting agenda after the changes can be reviewed.
