Wednesday night the Aplington City Council discussed increasing the utility rates with no action taken.
The Aplington council approved for the fire department to purchase a new thermal imager as well as two additional radios.
The Aplington City Council also approved the wage for the new city clerk who will be taking over for current clerk Deb Prier who is retiring as of March 1st.
