Thursday night the Dumont City Council held a public hearing on a proposal to enter into a General Obligation Street Improvement 28-E Loan Agreement. The Dumont council then approved a resolution to move forward with the agreement.
In other business, the Dumont City Council was informed that Cindy Arjes will purchase several security cameras to be placed around the city cemetery, in light of recent arrests made in a theft case involving cemetery markers.
The council also set March 27th at 7pm as the date and time to hold a public hearing on the city’s proposed property tax levy for the next fiscal year budget.
