Dows American Legion Posts 523 hosts “Be the One”

American Legion Post 523 in Dows, Iowa, will host “Be the One”, which is aimed at reducing the number of veterans lost to suicide. The American Legion is leading a nationwide effort — Be the One— to eliminate the stigma related to mental health treatment, and in turn, lower the number of veterans who die by suicide every day.
